Chard and District Swimming Club swimmers of the month for
May.
Hannah
Pullinger 13 and Daniel Walker 12 were rewarded for their
achievements in May and named as swimmers of the Month.
Hannah achieved
her first South West Regional Qualifying time in the 100mts
Freestyle 1:04:54 at the Exeter Meet
which enabled her to
compete in the ASA Championships at Millfield
6th June 2009.
Whilst Daniel
obtained his first National Qualifying Time in the 100mts
Breaststroke 1:20:38, he will be representing the club at
Sheffield during the end of the July and we wish him the best of
luck.
Congratulations
go to both of them who were persistent in their efforts to
achieve the times required – they both truly deserve their
award!
